Tom Tailor was born in 1962, Hamburg-based Uwe Schröder and Hans-Heinrich Pünjer founded HENKE & CO, a textile trading company.

What started with terry towels soon extended to menswear pieces – until the first corduroy pants were marketed under the name of “Tom“.
